In Web3, identity is everything. Yet, until now, decentralised domain names have remained siloed within individual networks. @sns, the leading provider of decentralised domain names on Solana, empowers users with .sol domains, granting them a human-readable identity to engage with DeFi and Web3. But what happens when a Solana user wants to operate on Ethereum, Arbitrum, or Polygon? Until now, their Web3 identity was stuck—confined to a single chain.

That changes today. Analog and SNS are teaming up to transform on-chain identities into cross-chain identities.

Why this Matters?

SNS allows users to register .sol domains, converting SOL addresses, IPFS CIDs, images, and text into easily readable formats. However, blockchain fragmentation has limited the mobility of these identities across different networks—until now.

With Analog’s General Message Passing (GMP), SNS users will be able to:

  • Export their .sol domains to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Astar, TON, (and more)

  • Retain full ownership and decentralization

  • The SNS identity can then be used across different chains, enabling cross-chain payments, building dApps, and authentication

This means SNS users will no longer be confined to Solana. They will have the freedom to interact with different blockchain networks while keeping their on-chain identity intact.

A Quick Look

Analog is an omnichain protocol designed for cross-chain interactions across DeFi and Web3. Using Threshold Signature Schemes (TSS), our GMP solution enables secure, trust-minimized communication between different blockchain networks.

In simple terms, and for SNS users, this means:

  • No need for complex bridging solutions

  • A frictionless way to expand Web3 identities across multiple chains

  • A fully censorship-resistant alternative to traditional domain names

Instead of dealing with fragmented blockchain identities, users can now move freely across ecosystems without compromising decentralization.

What’s Next

SNS will integrate Analog Watch and GMP in its public Testnet, paving the way for a new era of Web3 identities.

By making Web3 identities truly interoperable, this partnership is setting a precedent for how blockchain naming services should evolve—decentralized, borderless, and built for the multi-chain future of Web3.
